My first experience in Japan couldn’t have been better. Staying at Kool’s home has been an amazing experience for me because they will truly make you feel part of the family and they helped me a lot during my stay in Japan, which is something I highly appreciated. The kids are adorable and full of energy, so you will inevitably feel connected to them even if you don’t speak Japanese.
As a plus, the house itself is located in a convenient area of Tokyo, which is especially good if you love cute coffee places and museums.
All in all, I would definitely recommend it!!

Japanese society is well ordered and wonderful. However, Kool's home was occasionally chaotic due to the little naughty kids lol. Before I came to Japan from Germany , I didn't know much about the KOOL family. When my father home stayed with an elderly woman when he was young age, he went through cooked food was not delicious and bored time in the house. From that experience, my father told me, ''Don't expect too much for homestay.'' However, I had a fun two months meeting the KOOL family, drinking and talking with them, and playing computer games with the kids. During that time, I learned many Japanese words. The host mother's cooking was also delicious. They are the kind of family that I look forward to meeting again when I visit Japan once more in the future.

I love going out and having fun, and Host family allowed me to do almost whatever I wanted without any restrictions or curfews. There were times when I caused a little trouble, but Kool laughed and forgave me, saying, '' I was like that when I was young, too.'' lol . If you want to stay casual, less stress homestay, then Kool's house is the place for you.

I'm sure the host family has thought of various things to suit the homestay people like they did to me. So, when you stay at Kool san's house, you will definitely have a lot of fun. 2023年4月開始，入住Kool家，開始3個月的留學生活，雖然不是第一次來日本，但卻是第一次要長時間與人用日文交流，尤其是我的日文又是全靠看動畫學來的一點文法基礎都沒有，一開始總是很擔心能不能確實的傳達我的意思。入住後發現其實沒有那麼難，雖然講的不好但是想要表達的意思還是能傳達的了，生活也過得很快樂，每天都聽到的小孩子們充滿活力的玩鬧聲，我很慶幸自己能到這個家當寄宿生。

2023年4月からKool家に滞在し、3ヶ月間の留学生活を始めました。日本には初めてではありませんが、長期間にわたって日本語で人とコミュニケーションを取るのは初めてでした。特に私の日本語はアニメを見て学んだもので、文法の基礎もほとんどありませんでしたので、最初は自分の意思を正確に伝えられるか心配でした。しかし、滞在してみると実際そんなに難しくはなく、上手く話せなくても伝えたい意味は伝わることが分かりました。生活もとても楽しく、毎日子供たちの元気な遊び声が聞こえてきます。私はこのホームステイ生活に参加できて本当に幸運だと感じています。

I stayed here for 5 weeks in total. Overall it was a very fun experience and would want to do it again if I could. Although the children were sometimes loud in the morning, I did enjoy their presence, since they did made the household more lively. They even held a welcome's party and a farewell party for me! On top of that it is also a very good place to stay if you want to practice speaking Japanese. Thanks Host father Kool, Host mother, and the children for the enjoyable time!

I stayed there for 10 months and my Japanese level skyrocketed. The whole family is very kind and if you have any problem you should talk to them about it as they will do everything they can to help you.

The house is conveniently located as there is a park, garden and the train station all within 10 minutes of walking.

I recommend this homestay to anyone that wants to live in central Tokyo and practice daily conversation in Japanese.

I stayed at Kool's home for about 3 months from June 2022. It was full of fun memories such as going to summer camp with kids and host,
having Temoti Hanabi (fireworks), Suikawori (watermelon splitting using a stick) . Japanese culture and way it is are pretty different from Brazil so it made me confusing sometimes but I could understood gradually through living with them. All in all, I had a very fulfilling time. My time at the Kool Family house was short, but definitely one of the best I've ever had since I came to Japan. I've lived with other host families as well, but none of them was as remarkable as the Kool Family. The whole family is so nice and adorable. They always made an effort to talk or help me with whatever I needed.
Before I met them I honestly didn't like kids that much, but their kids just stole my heart. I miss them so so much!! Just seeing they smile when I got home made me so happy.
I can assure that anyone who ever decides to live there will have a great time, just like I did.

I wanted to go to Japan like my elder brother who homestayed at Kool's house, but due to the COVID-19, it was postponed many times and I had to reschedule my flight.
I was so lucky to be able to come to Japan. I would also like to thank my host family for accepting me even under such circumstances. Since I was staying at a homestay during the coronavirus pandemic, I was restricted from going out, but my host family came up with activities I could enjoy at home, practiced my Japanese, and did exercises at home together.
The Japanese cultural food host mother cooked were also very delicious. I feel like I have another family in Japan.

I have diabetes and need care in my daily life, but my host family understood this situation and took care of it. Kool helped me buying my favorite sneakers (Japan limited model !!!!!), and also helped me buying concert tickets for my favorite music group in Japan, and supported me in many many ways. I'm back in Brazil now, but already wanna back to Japan again. Kool, Host-mom, and loudy kids , Thank you for the good memories :)

Kool's family was a really warm family.
The host mother reads picture books to the children with kindly voice, the host father works busy on weekdays, but on his days off, the family enjoys activities together, and the children do their best at home schooling called Kumon. It's a little different from the life in my home country, but if you want to see real life in Japan, I think Kool's house is suitable.

I was totally satisfied with the comfortable house, safe place, convenient environment, warmhearted host family services, and activities I could joined with them.

If you don't want to waste your money buying cheap items, I personally recommend staying at Kool's home. You will have treasured memories like I experienced.
