　⇒二人ともすでに就職して、基本は家を離れていますが今回はOfirは帰省してました。
・留学生Shirley
　⇒中国から来て4年です。
・（自分が行ったときは、日本から大学生の方も来てました）

・HostmotherのEllie「短い時間だからたくさん思い出残してほしい」と、　長女のOfirとクライミングに連れて行ってくれたり、夜はWiiでボードゲームをしたり、オススメの映画を教えてくれたりと本当に楽しい時間を過ごすことができました。

・また、Ofirとはクライミングだけでなく、近くのスポーツセンターへテニスをしに行ったりチェスをしたりととても楽しく過ごすことができました。


2.食事

・毎食美味しいご飯をつくっていただきました。最高に美味しいニューヨークチーズケーキも！夕飯はだいたい18時～19時半頃に家族全員でいただきました。

・ランチも作っていただいたりで、滞在中の食事はほぼ$0！


3.部屋割

・一人につき一人の部屋を割り当ててもらいます。
・バスルームも一階・二階にあり、洗面支度のときに対面したことはありませんでした。


4.アクセス

・電車　
　⇒最寄駅のPennant hillsからバスor車で移動。初日はEllieに迎えに来てもらいました。

・バス
　⇒最寄のバス停まで徒歩5分程度。朝は5分程度の間隔で。The Cityまでのアクセスは45分程度。


5.まとめ

・トータル、最高のホームステイ先だと思います！いい思い出をありがとうございました。


I have enjoyed this trip because this host family treated me so kindly even though I only stayed in there just 1 week.
Thanks to them, my trip was so good memory.

→They started to work already, so they go out from there.But, Ofir came back there this time.
-Also long stay student from China'Shirley'
-(This time, also a Japanese student came there)


-Ellie said to me 'I would like you to have good memories from Sydney. So, during my week stay, I went to do Rock Climbing with Ofir, and we played Wii at night. She also recommended to me to watch good classical movies.

-Ted spoke to me very kindly, and his hobby is so amazing.

-I enjoyed playing tennis and Chess with Ofir and the other Japanese student.


2.Meals

-Ellie's meals were always delicious includes a 'amazing' New York Cheese Cake! I had dinner at about 18:00~19:30 with all family members.

-Also had my lunch done for the next day..


3.Room

-I had my own room. and, there were some bath room on 1st & 2nd floor, so I didn't need to take care of other members when I used it. My room was on the 1st floor.


4.Access

-Train
　→The nearest station is 'Pennant Hills' station. It takes about 10~ minutes by bus from home. When I arrived in Sydney, I was picked up by Ellie at Pennant Hills Station.

-Bus
　→It takes less than 5 minutes from home to the nearest bus stop. In the morning, it comes there every 5 minutes. it takes about 45 minutes, from there to the city.

娘さんのOfirには本当にお世話になりました。私の英語の勉強になるようにと、ボードゲームや映画を用意してくれました。お買い物にも付き合ってくれて、オーストラリア産の食べ物や、彼女のおすすめのものをたくさん教えてくれました。Ofirは優しくてかっこよくて面白く優秀で、すばらしい女性です。 もう一人のゲストの中国人の女の子も、かわいらしいフレンドリーな子でした。3人でボンダイビーチに行ったことは一番の思い出です！
また必ず会いたいです。ここなら安心して理想のホームステイができると思います！

I stayed here for 4 days. Larsen family were always very kind to me.
Their house is very big. My room was so lovely and clean. I was able to see a lot of stars in the garden. It was so beautiful.
Ellie and Ofir made me delicious food. I loved all!!
Ofir is very nice person. She helped me with English. We played the board game, watched movies, went shopping and went to bondi beach. She taught me many local foods. Choc Honeycomb is my best snack!! Thank you, Ofir!! She is kind, cool, funny and smart. She is one of the people I respect the most.
I think you can enjoy your homestay in their house. I am really glad that I could do a homestay in this house. Thank you.

I arrived in Sydney on the 23rd of August, for 10 days holiday.

Ellie and Adar picked me up from the train station near the house, it was very easy to travel by train from the airport to the train station near their home.

Ellie now is also my Aussie's mum. She is a Master Chef, she cooks very good meals and you will be eating lots of different meals every day.

Adar the youngest daughter has cooked for Ellie’s birthday, her cooking and her desserts looks and taste very good.
The food that you eat here is very healthy, and the meals are very international.

The family are very warm, helpful, friendly and easy going.
The house is very big and very clean, my room was very nice and clean and the area is very nice.

Adar also does a lot of sports, I went with her once for a run and she is also playing music instruments and sing too. She is very good in many things.
Dong the Chinese girl lives with the family, is also very nice and she likes to do photo shop.

Ted is the father in the family, he is engineer and after work he likes to do his hobby, he builds many beautiful amazing things.

Hello, my name is Kiyoyuki. I’m 17years old Japanese student. Ellie san and her family is very kind and treated me like their own son all the time during my stay there in 3 weeks. The day one, She gave me an orientation (e.g.; which area of Sydney is safe to walk around and which area need to pay attention.). she took care of me very much when it comes to safety.
Adar took me out of the house almost every day to do her sports activities. We played tennis also quite new challenges which are rock climbing, martial art, canoe, and many others sports. I really enjoyed it!! In the first few days I didn't communicate well, but throughout doing sports, I came to try English communication with them pro actively, and I could do it.

Ellie San and her family are very much familiar with Japanese visitors.
Last but not least, Ellie San cooking is very Good. And 100 times more tasty than that of my boarding in Australia!! Breakfast, lunch and dinner.. always good taste with endless interesting conversations. In last day when I left there, I promised Ellie San to come back to her house again Ellie San, Adar, and everyone in the house, thank you!! And I am looking forward coming back in next September! .

Since Ellie was on overseas travel, Adar cooked awesome dinners every day.

Mi experiencia con la familia Larsen fue inolvidable, desde el primer momento en que llege a casa me trataron como su propia hija aconsejandome y mostrandome la vida en Australia. Desde el primer momento se mostraron muy amables y me ensenaron desde como tomar el transporte hacia mi Universidad hasta el tipo de transporte apropiado para mi, sin duda una gran ayuda porque era mi primera vez fuera de mi pais.
Disfrutaras mucho la comida en casa pues todos los dias habia comida sana, balanceada e internacional, probaras la cocina mediterranea, oriental y la tipica Australiana! siempre aprenderas algo nuevo por que la hora de la cena siempre era una historia nueva que contar, juegos y dinamicas que hicieron mejorar mi ingles.
La habitacion es amplia y muy comoda, con todo lo necesario para tu descanzo y sobre todo privacidad. Habia fines de semana en que nos llevaba de paseos a diferentes lugares cercanos.
Sin duda una muy agradable experiencia con personas increibles e inolvidables, es como tener tu propia familia en el extranjero.

The Larsen family was the first home for me in Australia and they are going to be unforgettable. Right from the start they have treated me like their own daughter. They told me about life in Australia, they show me where to take the bus and what bus to take to the city, they were always very kind to me.
Dinner time is great, you will enjoy a lot the dinner time, because you will eat international cuisine like in a restaurant and it is time for conversation too.
The food is very international, there is Mediterranean food, Oriental food and Real Australian food. You will not miss home.
Sometimes after dinner you will play games with the family and improve your English very fast, while having fun!
My room was very comfortable, very clean you have all that you need in the room, and of course you have privacy.
Sometimes in the weekends I joined the family to see places and also to places of fun!
It was great experience with Larsen family, they are amazing people and unforgettable, they become like your real family but overseas!

Hey, My name is Noémie, I am French, I am 21 and I lived with Ellie, Adar and Ted for one month. They are really welcoming and they did their best to help me at my arrival in Australia. Their house is really cute, in a quiet area of Sydney. You need approximatly 35 minutes to go to the City, by train or by bus. No worries regarding the public transports, it is very easy in Sydney to travel. And if you have any problem, Ellie or Adar will help you. Regarding the food, no worries again. Every day you will eat a different meal. Ellie is a 'super cooker'! The house is always clean which is very pleasant. Exactly the same for the garden, and my room was very light.
Ellie is really endearing and nice. She does her best to help you because she wants you feel at home when you live with them. Adar is really cool and fun and I really got on well with her. She often plays the guitar, sings, and does some sports (running, tennis, basketball...). I shared with her our bathroom and everything went well, no problem at all. Ted is also very nice, he enjoys keeping the garden clean and beautiful. If you are lucky, you'll taste his 'home-made ginger beer' ! I promise you, it is a really good home stay family :)

Hello hello, Je m'appelle Noémie, j'ai 21 ans et j'ai habité pendant un mois chez Ellie, Adar et Ted. Ce sont des personnes très accueillantes qui ont tout fait pour m'aider à m'intégrer en Australie. La maison est très mignonne, dans un quartier très calme et familial de Sydney. Il vous faut 35 minutes pour rejoindre le centre de Sydney, en train ou en bus. Pas de soucis à vous faire en ce qui concerne les transports ce tout est bien indiqué ici à Sydney, et si vous avez le moindre problème Ellie vous aidera. En ce qui concerne la nourriture, vous ne manquerez jamais de rien ici ! Tous les jours c'est un plat différent, d'une nationalité différente, toujours très équilibré, et vous pouvez vous resservir autant que vous le souhaitez. La maison est très propre, le jardin très agréable, et la chambre très lumineuse. Ellie est une personne très attachante, qui consacre beaucoup de temps a votre intégration afin que vous vous sentiez réellement chez vous ici. Adar est une fille vraiment cool et fun avec qui je me suis tout de suite bien entendue. Elle joue de la guitare, chante de temps en temps et fait du sport. J'ai partagé la salle de bain avec elle et il n'y a jamais eu aucun soucis. Ted est lui aussi très gentil, aime bien prendre soin du jardin et des fleurs, et vous fera peut-être goûter sa fameuse 'ginger beer maison' ! N'ayiez aucune crainte en venant ici, c'est vraiment une très bonne famille d'accueil :)

I stayed with this family for two weeks. The host family mother, Ellie, and her family members welcomed me warmly.
That was my first time I came to Australia and didn't know anything about what to do first. Ellie went out of her way to take me to the nearby shopping center and taught me how to exchange money, buy a cellphone, find a job and so on. She took me under her wing. She treated me as if I were her son.
The food she cooks is out of this world! It is authentic Mediterranean cuisine. She is a hard-working lady, and she cooks scrumptious meals every day no matter how busy she is. I enjoyed wide variety of food there and sometimes drank a glass of red wine and white wine. That sounds tempting, doesn't it? I am 100 % sure you will have fantastic meals here, too!
The mother, Ellie, is very interested in Asian culture, so I told her about Japanese culture and she taught me Western culture and history, which was enthralling. I and Ellie got along so well that We sometimes talked about many things until late at night.

I have lived with the Larsen family for nearly one and a half year, it is really a happy experience for me. I have learnt so much from them, not only the English, but many other life skills, such as riding the bike. And also, I know a lot different lifestyle from the family, including the culture, manners and so on. Usually I am not into food so much, but I am really crazy about the food here, it is very good and such a big variety! If you ask me about it, I will say that it is extremely clean and good which is better than restaurants!
By the way, the surrounding is nice and quiet, especially the garden, is a good place to relax and do exerises. I enjoy living with the Larsen family. I love the Larsen Family!~\(≧▽≦)/~

Whether you are a student or a working professional, or you are in Sydney for the holidays; you will definitely love this place. Ted and Ellie are amazing people and the house is beautiful! Adar (their 17-year-old daughter) is full of wisdom and fun to be with. As for the place, it is absolutely gorgeous! A big house with a beautiful garden where you can chill or have fun with birds. Both of the rooms (one at the downstairs and one on the second floor -where I stayed) are spacious and furnished with lovely furniture. I personally liked a spacious bathroom on the second floor which was shared with Adar (she is super clean, so no need to worry at all). Ellie is a good cook and whatever she cooks is quite healthy yet filling. I stayed at their place for only one month, but the family and I had lots of fun by spending weekends together at home or other places. I feel grateful for them for being so nice to a stranger (well, I'm no longer a stranger though!). Lastly, traveling to the city centre takes just only 30 minutes by bus.
